LaTasha R Williams

CEO | NC State Compliance Officer

Established in January 2024 by LaTasha R. Williams, Dream BIG Community Resource Center is dedicated to connecting individuals and families with essential resources to improve their quality of life. As the Chief Development and Chief Inspiration Officer, Ms. Williams brings a wealth of experience and education, including an associate degree in Medical Office Administration, Microsoft Office certification, and credentials in Six Sigma and Project Management. With over a decade of experience assisting low-to-moderate-income households, she has worked extensively with Guilford County Public Health, the Department of Social Services, and various state-funded programs. Through Dream BIG, she aims to bridge community gaps by serving as a navigator, guiding clients through accessing government assistance such as Food and Nutrition Services, Medicaid, Housing, and much more. Her efforts have already resulted in numerous individuals successfully receiving support, reinforcing her mission to combat poverty, enhance education, and provide vital resources for those in need.

This same passion led me to want to be a part of this nonprofit organization. I am committed to leveraging my industry expertise to make a positive impact, ensuring that everyone has access to safe and affordable housing.

Austin Stanley

Board of Directors | Logistics Yard Manager | Consultant | Army Veteran

Austin Stanley, a logistics and fleet management expert with over a decade of experience, specializes in data analysis, inventory management, and operational efficiency. A North Carolina native and U.S. Army veteran, he served eight years as a combat engineer, including a Middle East deployment, and spent five years on the Military Funeral Honors Team. His military service instilled discipline, leadership, and problem-solving skills that continue to shape his career.

As a Board Member of Dream Big Community Resource Center, Austin is dedicated to empowering underserved communities by providing access to essential resources and support. His passion for service extends beyond logistics, as he works to create meaningful opportunities that foster resilience and long-term growth.

Nyasa Hawkins

Board of Directors | Mental Health Liaison, MSW, LCSW-A

Nyasa is passionate about the importance of access to mental health resources and support for individuals, families, veterans, or anyone in need. Nyasa has a formal educational background in Psychology, Criminology, and Social Work. Nyasa has 6 years of experience working in mental health with various populations, including but not limited to people experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and hospice treatment for individuals with a terminal condition. Nyasa recognizes the impact of factors such as economic status, educational background, geographical location, LGBT+ status, and many other things as factors to consider when providing individuals with mental health resources. Nyasa hopes to use her experience working in mental health to assist Dream BIG in bridging the disturbing community gaps that can be found in the community and surrounding areas.
