SUPPORT US
It costs about $15/per person to feed one family for a week, or $60 per family of four, per week. That is one less family in the world that will not go hungry, which would lead to a healthier life and a better day; a day to look forward to new beginnings.
Our Community
There are approximately 13.2% of the Durham County population that are living in poverty. Currently, this is higher than the national average, which is 12.6%.
Over 40,000 people out of 306,000 people are living below the poverty line just in Durham County alone due to a lack of knowledge and/or resources that are available at a community, county, and state level.
